Two weeks before Christmas universal credit put my account on hold I didn’t know what to do as it was food shopping week ..A mother of 5 children. I was recommended to Families in the Community by a friend …. Julie gave me a call explain I was entitled to claim emergency fund too which I didn’t know . Told me how to apply She then said she will look in the store cupboard to see what they have and get back to me …that same night she came with a man called Josh. We had food for 5 days …we were so grateful to you, it helped us… I did get the emergency and my credit was sorted. Thank you so much
